About Yourself:
I started archery in 2011 when I was in first year of secondary school. The coach from that beginners course is still my current coach and I joined Dublin Archers soon afterwards. Since then I have worked my way up the competitive ladder through club, national, and international competitions. I was the first ever cadet to win both cadet and senior indoor national titles in the same competition, beating my coach in the final. My best achievement so far is finishing 4th at the European Field championships. I chose DCU both for the course and the archery club as I already knew a lot of the members from training with them beforehand. I became an ordinary member on the DCU committee and then at the end of my first year in college I ran for the AI rep for ISAA. I’m basically archery Jesus if Jesus was overrated and disappointing in person.
Any outside of Archery Activities:
I took up snowboarding in my first year of college and I loved it. I went on the DCU Snowsports trip and I miss every day I’m not on the slopes but at least archery keeps me pretty busy and I guess I love it too, I’ve spent enough on it at least…
Fun Fact:
I nearly had a Hoyt riser colour named after my nickname because of an American compounder, Steve Anderson. It was going to be called “FiFi Green” but he was too late to change it.
